You could try to put them in a glass bowl with plastic on top with holes poked in it. If you have a microwave popcorn bag around though, you can try to re-use it... Probably easier to make it on the stovetop. Put an 8 cup pot on the stove with 1/4c vegitable oil in it and about 5 popcorn kernels. Turn the heat on high. When the first kernals have popped, add in 1/3 cup of popcorn and cover with the lid slightly off. When the popping slows down, take off the heat and let cook for about one more minute. Dump into a bowl and add salt or whatever. I wouldn’t recommend it since the popcorn bags are actually pretty high tech.
