I have an air popper and I would like to pop some popcorn. But I dont want to use cooking oil because…well you are what you eat and I know for a fact that oil isnt good for you. Do you NEED to use it? If I have to use it, are there any alternatives?
I recently charred 2 bags of popcorn in succession in my microwave. A bonehead move, I know. I’ve cleaned out the microwave, but now any time I run the microwave the smell of burnt popcorn fills the kitchen. Is there anything I can do to remove the smell?

It is a really old air popper and I have tried yellow and white corn. I just seem to be getting more and more unpopped kernels. What do you think?

I recently purchased an oil popper (the old fashioned kettle kind.) When I pop popcorn it doesn’t taste anything like the movie theatre. Does anyone know if there’s a specific oil or popcorn or topping or a combination of these? Thanks.
